I had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest on “The 504” for a cooking segment about cooking for your boo a.k.a. Valentine’s Day! My inspiration for my arugula and pomegranate salad recipe was to use foods known as aphrodisiacs. That started a wonderful conversation during the show, to say the least. Personally, I believe that food is a natural aphrodisiac especially when it’s good food.

Cooking Tips:
If you cannot find arugula use spring mix or your favorite salad greens.
Can you make it ahead?
Fridge: You can make the salad a day in advance. Just don't add the balsamic dressing.

Arugula and Pomegranate Salad
Ingredients
- 5 oz. arugula
- 4 oz. balsamic dressing
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese shredded
Instructions
- In a bowl add arugula, balsamic and salt; toss together and divide on a plate. Sprinkle pomegranate and parmesan evenly over both salads.
