Arugula and Pomegranate Salad

I had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest on “The 504” for a cooking segment about cooking for your boo a.k.a. Valentine’s Day! My inspiration for my arugula and pomegranate salad recipe was to use foods known as aphrodisiacs. That started a wonderful conversation during the show to say the least. Me personally, I believe that food is a natural aphrodisiac especially when it’s good food.

Here’s some information on what makes arugula, pomegranate and basil aphrodisiacs.

Here’s a behind the scenes video from yesterday’s show.

Can you make ahead?

Fridge: You can make the salad a day in advance. Just don’t add the balsamic dressing.
