This citrus agave glaze recipe works great on fish, chicken, pork and vegetables. Plus it only takes 10 minutes to make.
Citrus Agave Glaze
Cooking Tips:
When reducing the sauce to a glaze if you notice it's cooking to fast, remove from heat for 1 minute, then turn the heat to low.
Can you make ahead?
Fridge: After sauce cools off, place in an airtight container in the fridge for 7 days max. Sauce will be fresh for 5 days at room temperature.

Citrus Agave Glaze
Ingredients
- Zest of 2 small lemon
- Zest of 2 small lime
- Juice of 2 grapefruit
- Juice of 2 small lemon
- Juice of 2 small lime
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 jalapeno stem removed, chopped
- 8 garlic cloves
- ½ cup agave
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and blitz on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Transfer to a small pot, bring to a boil and cook until sauce thickens about 10 minutes. Use immediately or once glaze cools, place in a airtight container, leave out at room temperature for 5 days.
