Roasted Broccoli and Red onions
Tips for success: I always add my oil around the rim of the bowl. It helps insure whatever is getting tossed in evenly covered.This recipe works for 2 lbs. of vegetables, just remember that stalkless vegetables (squash, zucchini etc.) will cook faster
Roasted Broccoli and Red Onion
- Large bowl
- Chef knife
- Cutting board
- Dry measuring spoon
- 2 lbs. about 5 ½ heads broccoli florets
- 1 medium red onion sliced medium
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons avocado oil
- Preheat the oven, in a bowl add the broccoli, red onion, kosher salt, black pepper, and avocado oil, toss to combine. Add to a foiled lined baking sheet, pop in the oven for 30 minutes, stir and serve in 4 oz. portions.
