Salted Honey Butter Rolls

These rolls will probably be on your dinner table twice a month after you make them for the first time. I like to make a bigger batch and freeze the finish rolls in the freezer and reheat them when needed. I would make these 3 days before I do my major holiday prep and just reheat them on the day of.

  • Mixer with dough attachment, large bowl, dry measuring cups, dry measuring spoons, liquid measuring cup, baking pan, brush, digital scale


  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2 envelopes active yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs 1 slightly beaten
  • ¾ cups honey ½ cup and ¼ cup separated
  • 2 sticks butter separated, 1 melted, 1 cold
  • 5 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Maldon’s Sea Salt
