  • 3 cups masa corn flour
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 4 tablespoons cold plus 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • Jalapeno Honey Butter:
  • 1 jalapeno diced small
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
