Strawberry Mojito Ingredients
The key to the best strawberry mojitos is using the freshest ingredients. Let’s talk about the ingredients you’ll need to bring this sweet mojito recipe to life.
White Rum
It’s essential to use white rum for mojitos and not dark spiced rum, as dark rum would be overpowering when paired with mint and lime’s light and delicate flavors. Make sure to use a quality white rum that you enjoy the taste of.
Fresh Strawberries
If strawberries are in season, definitely opt for organic; they’re the freshest and juiciest ones that you can find. If they’re not in season or you simply can’t find any, you can use frozen strawberries in a pinch—just make sure to thaw them first.
Lime Juice
Nothing compares to fresh lime juice in a mojito, so I highly recommend sticking to fresh limes. However, you can use store-bought lime juice if you don’t have another option.
Mint Leaves
This is the star of any mojito recipe, so don’t leave it out! Fresh mint leaves are crucial to achieving the signature minty flavor of this cocktail.
Granulated Sugar
It’s not a mojito without the sugar, so I use the best sugar on the market, Imperial Sugar. Imperial Sugar’s products include extra-fine granulated sugar, light and dark brown sugar, free-flowing sugar, powdered sugar, sugar shakers, white and brown sugar cubes, and Steviacane® (Stevia + sugar blend). Imperial Sugar products are 100% pure cane sugar, non-GMO, and provide consistently delicious results.

If you’re serving mojitos for a crowd, all you have to do is multiply the ingredients by the amount you need, keeping in mind that this recipe comfortably serves two.
