    While watermelon is a popular summer fruit, watermelon limeade daiquiri is not a common beverage. This recipe will show you how to make a watermelon lemonade daiquiri that is sure to be a crowd delight!

    This recipe for watermelon limeade daiquiri uses no added sweeteners, sugars, or honey. The natural sweetness of the watermelon and limeade concentrate provides all the sweetness required.

    Seedless Watermelon: Seedless watermelons have a deeper yellow belly than seeded watermelons, which on the surface seems like a great thing, but I think it has to do with it being a gmo watermelon.

    Seeded Watermelon: Seeded watermelon has a natural yellow belly with a lighter hue, which is how traditional watermelon looks.

    To make this delicious daiquiri, you will need the following key ingredients:

    Organic Watermelon

    Organic watermelon juice is sweeter and contains more vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, and magnesium. Then, conventionally grown watermelon.

    Frozen Lime Concentrate

    Lime concentrate does two things. First, it saves us time, so we do not have to freeze the watermelon. Second, it provides a flavor that brightens and complements the watermelon.

    Spiced Rum

    Spiced rum is distilled from white sugar and molasses. It also has added caramel coloring and warm spices. Which contributes to its sweet aroma and taste.

    Mint

    Mint provides a light and refreshing taste. It's also high in antioxidants which help keep the immune system and prevent inflammation.

    Vodka

    Vodka is great alcohol because its flavor is subtle. The watermelon and lemon flavors in the recipe can stand out without being overpowered by any other taste.

    Making watermelon daiquiris at home is much easier than finding a daiquiri shop that’s near you.

    In a food blender, add the watermelon and blitz on high for 30 seconds. You should have 2 cups of watermelon juice.  Add the frozen lime concentrate, mint, spiced rum, vodka, and ice. Blitz on high for 30 seconds. Evenly divide daiquiris amongst 6 cups, garnish with a mint sprig, lime slice, frozen watermelon ball, and straw, and serve immediately.

    How To Store Watermelon Daiquiris

    Frozen daiquiris are best enjoyed on the day they are made. If you are planning a party, daiquiris are great because you can blend them and store them in the freezer for 2-3 days. Just remember to take them out 15 minutes before serving to thaw. Alternatively, you can keep them covered in the fridge 30 minutes before the party starts. However, making them right before serving is best if you prefer a slushy consistency.

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 ½ cups chopped seeded watermelon
    • 24 oz. frozen lime concentrate
    • 6 leaves of mint plus more for garnish
    • 3 oz. spiced rum ⅓ cup
    • 3 oz. vodka ⅓ cup
    • 6 cups ice
    • 1 lime sliced
    • 6 frozen watermelon balls

    Instructions
     

    • In a food blender add watermelon, blitz on high for 30 seconds. You should have 2 cups of watermelon juice. Add the frozen lime concentrate, mint, spiced rum, vodka, and ice.
