This frozen daiquiri recipe is the perfect adult slushy. Full of orange flavor, spiced rum and my favorite daiquiri shot, everclear. The beauty of daiquiris is the flavor combinations are endless.
Mambo Daiquiri Tips:
Use a good food blender. You do not need a top of the line blender. Just one that crushes ice pretty good.
Once you no longer hear the sound of the blender breaking down the ice. Let it run for an additional 15 second to make sure no one gets small pieced of ice in their drink.
Use more ice for a thicker daiquiri.
Can you make ahead?
Freezer: Daiquiri: Can be made one day in advanced. Keep covered in a pitcher.
Fridge: Daiquiri: Can be made 30 minutes in advanced. Keep covered in a pitcher. However if you like it to have more of a slushy consistency make right before serving.
You don’t have to add the everclear.
Common One to One Substitution:
Alcohol of Choice = Spiced Rum
Any Frozen Concentrate Flavor = Orange Concentrate
what to serve with Mambo Daiquiri?
- 2 trays of ice cubes
- 24 oz. frozen orange concentrate
- 1 lime juice
- 6 oz. spiced rum
- 4 oz. everclear
- In a blender add all ingredients until a slushy consistency is developed.
