Every now and then it’s lovely to make your own mayonnaise. Since where talking about special occasions, we minus-well add some garlic to our mayonnaise. This will become a new favorite in your house. Use it anywhere mayonnaise is called for burgers, french fries, sandwiches, tuna salads etc.

Tips for success: This may become your new favorite mayonnaise. Try using roasted garlic and roasted garlic oil for your next aioli.

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoons black pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil
  1. In a food blender add the egg yolks, garlic, Dijon, cayenne, lemon juice, kosher salt and black pepper. Pulse 3 times, turn the blender on high and slowly add the olive oil, mix until aioli has the consistency of mayonnaise, about 30-45 seconds.
